Matthew Proud

CEO


A passionate leader and business operator, Matthew is responsible for overseeing the business and leading the company’s expansion across Canada and internationally. Matthew’s leadership has delivered immense growth for the business, including multiple acquisitions and partnerships, with the most recent one being the acquisition of the remaining 49 percent of Easy Convey Ltd. Of the UK, bringing Dye & Durham’s holding to 100 percent. His sharp vision has led the company to become Canada’s leading provider of legal solutions and software, as it continues to innovate and provide easy solutions to legal professionals.

Matthew holds an BA from the University of Cambridge and attended the University of Buckingham where he obtained a LL.B (Hons.).

Ian MacNeily

CFO


Ian MacNeily is Dye & Durham’s Chief Financial Officer and is based in the Toronto office. Ian is an accomplished senior financial executive with more than 20 years experience as CFO and directorships of TSX listed companies. Ian is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA) and has an undergraduate degree BA (economics) from Acadia University. Ian is especially fond of skiing and enjoys taking ski road trips through western Canada whenever he can.

Ron Begg

COO


Ron has an extensive background in technology and management as an executive and consultant. He knows what it takes to really understand what our customers need and then position our organization properly to meet those needs. Ron has a special interest in organizing for growth – putting together the right programs and processes that bring people together and channel their passion. Ron has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario Ivey School of Business. When not at work Ron can be found running, walking or on a squash court.

Eric Tong

CIO


Eric brings extensive product, technology and operational leadership experience to the seasoned Dye & Durham leadership team, which he joined through D&D’s acquisition of oncorp, the leading provider of automated search and registration services to Ontario’s legal community. At oncorp, a technology-driven service provider, he oversaw the day-to-day operations for 14 years as COO and also led the product development team to successfully bring new products and services to the market, growing the company from a small regional player to the nationwide platform that it is today. Eric’s prior experience also involved technology and the legal community, having served as an IT consultant at nurun (a Quebecor Media company) as well as a programmer at PCLaw (now LexisNexis).

Eric holds a BASc in computer engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Queen’s University.

Aziz Pirani

CSO


As VP of Sales, Aziz Pirani has extensive experience and a successful track record in the Software, IT Services and Telecommunications industries. Over the last five years, Aziz was Vice President at Access Point Information Canada (APIC) where he was responsible for Business Development, Product Management and Operations for three business lines that encompassed ProSuite, Tax Certificates On Line and eStrataHub – all of which are focused on the conveyance process to the legal, financial services and real estate markets. Aziz holds a BA (Double Major with Honors) in Economics and Commerce from Simon Fraser University and is a graduate of the Ivey Executive Leadership Program.

Adrian Turchet

VP of Marketing & Corporate Development

Adrian brings over 10 years of experience advising a range of software & technology, services and manufacturing companies. He is a collaborative and charismatic leader with broad strategy, business development, transformation, sales enablement and communications experience. With a proven success record in navigating complex processes and developing strategic relationships with centers of influence and industry partners across all levels of an organization.

Prior to joining Dye & Durham full-time in 2016, Adrian advised the company through multiple acquisitions and stages of growth since 2012. Investment Banker by training, Adrian was previously with Integral Wealth Securities focused on high growth opportunities in North America.

Adrian can also be found competing in leisure sports activities, and volunteering in the community.

Phil Obendorf

VP of Technology


With more than 15 years’ experience in Software Development, Phil is in charge of developing the product and technical roadmap for the product development team. He brings a vast array of experience in high tech companies to bring great solutions to the market. Phil’s team is staffed with a high caliber group of technologists and product managers across the country.

When Phil is not focused on delivering the next great thing, you can find him sailing out on Lake Ontario.

Jaimie Cooke-Dallin

VP of Client Software Support


Jaimie brings to the Dye & Durham team over 10 years’ experience working as a real estate paralegal for various law firms in downtown Vancouver. Her experience includes, large development projects, project sales, and residential and commercial work. Today, she leads the Very Helpful Desk here at Dye & Durham to deliver one of the best customer services of its kind in the industry. She is responsible for the client support for the various emarket products offered by Dye & Durham – elegacy, ecorp and econveyance.

Outside of work, Jaimie loves being outdoors, playing softball and socializing with friends and family.

George Marouchos

VP of Eastern Operations


George oversees Dye and Durham’s Operations in Eastern Canada, managing a high performing Client Care team. He also serves as the company’s Security Officer, and focuses on companywide process improvement projects. Prior to joining D&D, George worked in CPG manufacturing in various roles, most recently as a Six Sigma Black Belt, with a focus on improving productivity and streamlining processes. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in change management, strategic projects and data analytics. When not analyzing big data, George can be found playing soccer or exploring new restaurants and coffeeshops.

George holds a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Operations Research.

Grant McLaney

VP of Western Operations


As VP of Western Operations, Grant brings over 10 years of legal experience to the Dye & Durham team. He has experience practising law in BC and Ontario, and has worked both in private practice and in-house. Grant has been with Dye & Durham for five years providing legal counsel to the company and leadership to the real estate and corporate service divisions, as well as our branch offices. He understands the needs of our clients and partners well. In his current role, Grant is also responsible for maintaining and cultivating strategic partnerships with government and private entities. As part of this function, he holds the role of President of the BC Association of Professional Registry Agents. Grant is a frequent speaker at BC legal conferences and bar association events.

In his free time, Grant can be found hiking or biking up local mountains, or playing tennis.

Steven Wildfong

VP of Sales, Eastern Canada


As VP of Sales for Eastern Canada, Steve plays a key role in helping the company grow its portfolio of clients and expanding into new markets.

A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University in Economics & Business, Steve Wildfong is an accomplished Business Development Executive and Certified Management Consultant with over 25 years of successful consultative selling and team management experience. Steve understands the value of working collaboratively with his colleagues and clients to create mutual winning growth and ROI strategies that lead to increased business and long-term trusted client relationships.

Before joining Dye & Durham, Steve was awarded numerous accolades for his outstanding sales achievements throughout his career while working for both Fortune 500 brands as well as smaller companies – including several B2B start-ups in Ontario.

In his spare time, Steve enjoys traveling with his family, learning about other cultures around the world and staying actively fit.

Shane Miller

VP of Finance


Shane is a chartered accountant (CPA CMA) and has over twenty years of progressive work experience touching many industries in Canada and the United Kingdom. Shane holds a MBA from Temple University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

When not at work, Shane enjoys golfing, cycling and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Chelsea Hansen

Chelsea has worked in multiple departments within Dye & Durham since 2006. The majority of this time has been spent with the very helpful desk and assisting in the product development of ecorp. Chelsea has a yearning for making processes better and easier. From her experience with the help desk she has learned and believes that in order to make a great product you need to listen to your customers’ needs and wants.

Sarah Pugsley

Product Manager

As the Product Manager for both elegacy and econveyance, Sarah brings her expertise from years of working as a conveyancer and a wills & estates clerk. Having been a regular user before coming to work at Dye & Durham, she can put herself into our clients’ shoes and create programs that will make the day to day job simple and easy. When not working, Sarah is usually outdoors with her dog, spending time with friends or roaming through new home décor shops.

Phil Roberts

Product Manager
etray & oncorp


Phil Roberts is the Senior Product Manager responsible for automated services and the etray application at Dye & Durham. Phil is a certified Scrum Product Owner and brings over 20 years of experience working with all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Phil started out as an amateur system operator for a community bulletin board system while in high school, and has built a career in information technology. His predominantly enterprise software experience includes work in areas of onboarding and loan origination for credit unions, document transformation, case management and mobile device management, and has been deeply involved in process improvement and quality.

Phil holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Wilfrid Laurier University, as well as two bachelor degrees from University of Waterloo, having focused studies on computer science, mathematics, physics, psychology and human resources management. Phil is an avid science fiction fan, and enjoys music, film, traveling, socializing with friends and family and gardening.
