Supreme Court & Court of Appeal – New Practice Directions
Effective May 15, 2016, Supreme Court Practice Direction 50 – Masters’ Jurisdiction replaces Practice Direction 42 – Masters’ Jurisdiction (March 25, 2013). PD 50 sets out the matters in which a master is not to exercise jurisdiction and provides guidelines as to the matters in which a master does have jurisdiction. Please see the practice direction for further details.
Effective May 13, 2016, Court of Appeal Practice Directive (Civil & Criminal) – Electronic Media in Appeal Books sets out that only CDs or DVDs may be used for appeal books. Please see the practice directive for further details.
