New West Partnership Trade Agreement

June 13, 2012

Dear Valued Client,

BC Registry Services, with the assistance from Dye & Durham, will be providing an overview of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA).

Effective July 1, 2012, BC Registry Services will be implementing changes to Name Requests Online and Corporate Online to support streamlining extraprovincial registrations of corporations from British Columbia to Saskatchewan as outlined in the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA). This agreement expands the benefits of the Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA) implemented in 2009 between British Columbia and Alberta, by extending the same processes to Saskatchewan.  For details regarding this initiative, go to Registries News page at http://www.bcregistryservices.gov.bc.ca/bcreg/news.page

As well, Registries is offering an opportunity for BC OnLine deposit account holder clients to attend a NWPTA webinar.  Click on the link below for the particulars on the NWPTA preview opportunity being held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

Please Note:  Space is limited, should your office have multiple staff who wish to attend the session, please consider registering only one person and arranging for a computer and set of speakers to be set up in a central location for all to attend.
