Effective Date: Will advise – To be determined

The Land Title and Survey Authority will accept payments for PTT and Land Registration fees with cheques made payable to Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia. Separate cheques for PTT and registration fees as well as a consolidated cheque for both PTT and registration fees will be accepted

Ideally, cheques should be made out to Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia, however cheques made out to the following will also be accepted.

Land Title and Survey Authority of BC

LTSA of British Columbia

LTSA of BC

Subject: Transition Period – Cheques Made Payable to the “Minister of Finance” after the Land Title Branch is transferred to the LTSA

The Land Title and Survey Authority will not accept cheques made payable to the “Minister of Finance”.  HSBC Bank Canada, LTSA bank, confirms they will accept a cheque where:

It was originally made payable to the “Minister of Finance” and the customer or the cashier writes or stamps in “Land Title and Survey Authority of BC”.

The customer then initials beside the correction to indicate their approval.

The cheque can then be deposited as part of the regular batch.
