The BC Court of Appeal recently updated two of its practice directives.
- Submission of Electronic Factums and Statements comes into effect October 1, 2014. This directive makes it mandatory for parties to file digital copies of factums and statements along with paper copies.
- Judicial Settlement Conferences came into effect on June 27, and updates an earlier directive. It simplifies language and allows a justice in chambers to refer appeals to the program.
