Law intersects with other interests in unexpected ways, and next month, the UBC Faculty of Law will partner with the Sauder Business Club of Vancouver to offer Foodie for Thought, a unique event that showcases how eight law and business grads have made food and drink part of their careers.
The November 5 event is open to all Sauder and Law alumni and the $10 ticket (available online) gives you access to the event plus canapes and a drink at The Imperial.
Law alumni speaking include:
- Catherine Anderson, LLB: Owner & CEO, Hidden Garden Foods Ltd.
- Jenn Lau, LLB: Owner, Fresh Coast Meats Ltd.
- Graham MacLennan, LLB: Founder of “dish’ED”, an annual dinner supporting imagine1day.org
- Ben Schach, JD: Co-Founder, Glory Juice Co.
The program will be MC’d by Michael Bain, LLB of Hamilton Howell Bain & Gould.
