Upcoming Event: Foodie For Thought

Law intersects with other interests in unexpected ways, and next month, the UBC Faculty of Law will partner with the Sauder Business Club of Vancouver to offer Foodie for Thought, a unique event that showcases how eight law and business grads have made food and drink part of their careers.

The November 5 event is open to all Sauder and Law alumni and the $10 ticket (available online) gives you access to the event plus canapes and a drink at The Imperial.

Law alumni speaking include:

  • Catherine Anderson, LLB: Owner & CEO, Hidden Garden Foods Ltd.
  • Jenn Lau, LLB: Owner, Fresh Coast Meats Ltd.
  • Graham MacLennan, LLB: Founder of “dish’ED”, an annual dinner supporting imagine1day.org
  • Ben Schach, JD: Co-Founder, Glory Juice Co.

The program will be MC’d by Michael Bain, LLB of Hamilton Howell Bain & Gould.
