As noted in our Industry news section, the BC Land Titles and Survey Authority is permanently relocating all Prince George and Prince Rupert land title records from the New Westminster Land Title Office to the Victoria Land Title Office.
The move will happen this September, and there will be a short period where records are inaccessible, on September 18 and 19 (a Thursday and Friday). In light of this, we encourage you to submit any land title search requests around this time as much in advance as possible, and be sure to note any deadlines you’re working with.
Rest assured that Dye & Durham’s experienced title researchers will adapt to the records’ new location quickly and confidently. We have worked with these records for decades, and our New West and Victoria offices will work together to make this transition as seamless as possible for our clients.
