As part of Phase 2 of its Real Property Reform Project, the British Columbia Law Institute has just released four new consultation papers.

- Consultation Paper on the Partition of Property Act
- Consultation Paper on Accounting and Contribution Between Co-Owners of Land
The first report in this series was issued in March 2011.
Phase 1 of the project was completed in 2007. Phase 2 is being carried by a project committee chaired by Dr. Albert McClean, Q.C., dean emeritus of the Faculty of Law, UBC, and is being funded by the Law Foundation of British Columbia, the Notary Foundation, and the Real Estate Foundation.
