On the first day of the conference, PLEAC will hold its AGM, board and members’ meetings, to be followed by a PLEAC social from 5:30 to 7:30. Tapas and BC wines will be served.
On Thursday, October 10, there will be a series of panel discussions on the topics of:
- Legal Education for Everyone,
- Legal Capability a Shared Responsibility,
- What’s in your information rack?, and
- Advancing Legal Education.
Speakers from all over Canada will be participating, as well as a speaker from Australia.
This is a great conference for public legal educators and those interested in public legal education.
Opening Doors is followed by the 9th International Plain Language Conference in Vancouver from October 10-13, 2013. There is a reduced rate available for those wishing to attend both conferences, as long as registration is completed by August 31.
