Law Society Survey: Are British Columbians’ Legal Needs Being Met?

October 10, 2014

The Law Society’s Legal Services Regulatory Task Force wants to know what BC communities’ legal needs are, and whether those needs are being met. They hope this better understanding will help them improve access to legal services in our province, especially for low- and middle-income citizens.

To that end, the task force is running two surveys until the end of October: one for the public, and another for lawyers and other legal service providers such as notaries, community advocates, mediators, arbitrators, etc.

You can learn more about the background of the surveys here, and watch for the results of survey incorporated into the task force’s report to the Benchers in December 2014.
