Free CPD From Courthouse Libraries BC

November 30, 2012

Courthouse Libraries BC is making it easier for BC lawyers to get their CPD hours for 2012 with a free event focusing on their Lawyers Reading Room service.

“At noon on December 6, 2012 we’re inviting lawyers from all over BC to join us for our session, “Reading Room Made Easy”, a session packed with practical tips on how to find what you need without leaving your desktop.   …

This session is aimed at a variety of practice areas and experience levels and can be done over lunch. Some lawyers will be in our Kamloops branch in person while others will log in online.  We`ll show you ways to harness the power of the Lawyers Reading Room using Irwin Law and HeinOnline. Our attendees will also be the first group to see a sneak preview of a project we are very excited about.

And just in case you’re contemplating where that last hour of CPD credit is coming from, may we suggest this session is perfect for that too?

Finally, we’re so excited about introducing you to e-reading that we wanted to get you started.  With this in mind, we’re entering every lawyer who attends our session in a draw to win a new Kobo Glo.”

Register for the event online, or contact Meghan Maddigan with questions at 604-660-2477.
