Courthouse Libraries BC is seeking input from criminal lawyers in the province as part of the consultation process in the development of a new Criminal Law Practice Portal, which…
“will be a practical online “dashboard” of essential, useful and interesting criminal law information and practice resources that BC criminal law practitioners can use as a homepage.”
Those who volunteer to provide input will participate in a one-on-one, open-ended phone or in-person interview.
“A variety of respondents are sought, including solo and newly called criminal law practitioners with a range of experience, urban and rural practitioners, ones familiar and ones unfamiliar with Courthouse Libraries BC’s services, those accustomed and those unaccustomed to accessing legal information online, influencers and leaders from the criminal bar, provincial and supreme court judges, and authors of commercially produced legal texts.”
Interviews will be conducted throughout July. For more information on the consultation process, see “Criminal Law Practice Portal: Needs Assessment Introduction for Respondents”, and if you are interested in participating, contact Nate Russell, Legal Community Liaison, at 604-660-2405, toll free: 1-800-665-2570, or by email at [email protected]
