The Legal Services Society recently announced that its booklet Living Together or Living Apart has won a Grand Award from Apex.
Apex stands for “Awards for Publication Excellence”, and is an annual competition judging publications on the basis of “graphic design, editorial content and overall communications”. Out of the 2400 annual submissions received, the “Grand Award” is presented to just 100 outstanding publications! Living Together or Living Apart was awarded the Grand Award in the “one-of-a-kind” publication category.
Living Together or Living Apart explains the basic tenets of family law in BC, including information on being married, common-law relationships, what separation and divorce mean, how to work out parenting arrangements and what to do about money. The publication is available online or in print, and in both English and French.
Congratulations to the Living Together or Living Apart publication team, including editor Winnifred Assmann, designer Andrea Rodgers, and publications development coordinator Alex Peel!
This publication was partially funded by the Law Foundation of British Columbia.
