The BC Civil Liberties Association has just opened its first satellite office. The new office is located in Prince George, British Columbia.
According to the BCCLA,
“the office will be staffed by volunteers and will assist members of the community with police complaints. It will also provide a local voice educating the public and decision makers on civil liberties values and the importance of protecting and advancing rights and freedoms locally and nationally.”
The new office, which is known as the Northern Chapter Office and is located at Hadih House, 2105 Pine Street, held its grand opening last week. David Eby, Executive Director of the BCCLA, was present for the occasion.
