Why is it that you live your life the way you do? Eat breakfast, make weekend plans and partake in the social activities outlined in your day-planner? Why did you pursue the education and career that you choose?
Have you ever considered the variables of why we do things the way that we do? In the BCLMA’s upcoming event, Articulate Your Why, the association will shed some light on the importance of asking ‘why’?
The fall event will focus on‘helping a team, business unit or organization find and clearly articulate their why in simple language that inspires action.’ The event is based on popular author Simon Senek’s widely appreciated business book, Start With Why. The book promotes both individuals and organizations to begin with a deep-seated purpose and refer back to it often when making decisions. Senek has been featured in TED Talks and recently released his latest work, Leaders Eat Last.
