The BC Paralegal Association is seeking volunteers for its Amici Curiae Pro Bono Paralegal Program. The program is “designed to help the public who need help in drafting applications and pleadings in civil and family matters.”
Volunteers must have at least 5 years’ paralegal litigation experience in civil or family litigation. Assignments are very flexible and generally assigned once every six weeks, unless otherwise requested. Volunteers are supervised by a duty counsel. The program runs on Wednesday nights at the Justice Access Centre at 800 Hornby Street in Vancouver from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
