Electronic Title Search Printing Update
Dear Valued Client,
We have been advised of the following by the LTSA, which we are sending along for your information:
Title Search PrintsAny title search printed from a title display in the LTSA Electronic Search services on BC OnLine, delivered by email, or sent to the BC OnLine mailbox between March 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM and March 27, 2013 at 10:50 PM may not have included all of the content. Printed and PDF copies of Electronic Filing System pre-and post-searches may also have been affected. Although the View Title screen in the LTSA’s Electronic Search Services displayed the correct information on-screen, some portions of the content spanning across more than one page may have been omitted in the printout or the PDF copy of the title that was sent. The LTSA has temporarily resolved this printing issue by reverting to the former title search design for prints. Until further notice, the View Title screen will display the title in the new format but it will be printed in the earlier title search design. The LTSA will inform customers when the updated format will be re-implemented for printing. Please include the PID number and your email address in the request.State of Title CertificatesAlthough no issues have been reported with State of Title Certificates, a similar printing issue may have affected State of Title Certificates printed between March 24, 2013 and March 27, 2013. The LTSA will be re-issuing all State of Title Certificates printed during this period. If you have received a State of Title Certificate from the LTSA that was printed between March 24, 2013 and March 27, you may also contact the LTSA Customer Service Centre to request a free title search print in order to verify that the State of Title Certificate contains complete information.
