Is Dye & Durham going to cut services and features?
No, we will continue to support our customers with the same products and services they have always relied upon. In order to maintain our premium service levels and continue to evolve our platforms, this price adjustment is necessary. We plan to continue to invest in our platforms to improve reliability, performance, and service levels.
Does this price increase apply to projects?
No, there is no change in price for Projects files. The price adjustment only affects standard Purchase, Sale, Mortgage, and Family Transfer transactions.
I need more time. Why has there been so little advance notice for this price increase?
While we would have liked to provide more time between the announcement and the price adjustment taking affect, there were a number of factors that prevented us from being able to do that.
Does this price increase apply to any of the other software programs?
The price adjustment only applies to econveyance, ProSuite, and BriefConvey. There is no change in price for any of the other software programs.
Will there be a price freeze guarantee after this?
No, however, we have no plans to adjust our prices further at this time.
How do I know you won’t continue to implement regular price increases each year?
We do not have any plans for any other price adjustments at this time.
How will I be able to justify this price increase to my customers?
This may vary based on your pricing model, whether your practice disburses fees or offers an all-in-one fee. But in both cases, most customers will place great value on the level of quality service they receive from your firm. Dye & Durham enables legal professionals to provide superior service to their customers while supporting them to run their offices efficiently and profitably.
Will the system disburse the fee properly for each file? I.e Billed files will reflect the old price and new files will reflect the new price?
Yes, the disbursement fee is date driven and will be updated automatically.
I have marketing materials already created with the old price. Do you plan to compensate me for the changes I will need to make?
Unfortunately, there are no provisions we can make for your marketing expenses.
How can you justify charging more in BC than in any other province?
In order to maintain our premium service levels and continue to evolve the platform for our British Columbia customers, we determined this price adjustment is necessary.
What new features are you releasing to justify the price?
We are excited to share with you the many premium benefits available through Unity and the many innovative features that are coming soon. We will be providing more information outlining our upcoming plans in the near future.
What happens when I need a file refunded?
Dye & Durham will not provide refunds for files opened in conveyancing applications. We recommend that you take care when opening your records and verify the validity of a file before it is opened.
How is Dye & Durham giving back to the community?
We believe creating safe and secure homes strengthens families and communities and we are pleased to announce that Dye & Durham will be donating a portion of our revenue to support housing for the homeless both locally and internationally.
