Very helpful desk. I am an experienced conveyancer who struggles with the many technology changes I have to face. I gave LDD a try and found that it wasn’t exactly user friendly – specifically, the title search import was cumbersome. I eventually stopped using LDD because it wouldn’t work on my computer and it wasn’t worth the effort to figure out what the problem was. Since switching to econveyance I have realized that there is an effective, user friendly system out there. The ladies at the Very Helpful desk are wonderful, the title import process is streamlined and the libraries are up to date and painless to use. Definitely worth switching to econveyance! I was initially interested in econveyance because of the Connections feature. Having the ability to share common information on a file is a huge advantage. The implementation and training I received from econveyance was excellent, it made changing programs easy. Once I started using econveyance I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the title search and encumbrances were compared to LDD; who I used previously. We have used CASA since 2001 and have found that the system to be extremely user friendly and new staff members are able to become familiar with the system efficiently. We utilise the integration relating to SDLT, Easy Search and Client ID tools together with the online Track-A-Matter Service which is a benefit to the clients with keeping them informed together with the integrated SMS text messaging facility. We have found CASA to be continuously evolving relating to new functions hence why we have stayed with this case management software since 2001 as their competitors are unable to provide the full functionality of this product is able to achieve. I had a package of original documents which was picked up in our Port Coquitlam office on a morning run, and had to be delivered to another firm in Victoria the following morning ASAP. FedEx couldn’t guarantee a delivery time and our usual in-town courier service couldn’t guarantee it would arrive the next day. Dye & Durham Victoria office called me the same day the package was picked up to ask if it could be delivered now, as it had already arrived in Victoria.
